Obituary of Ingrid Helga Vaughn

Ingrid Helga (Konieczny) Vaughn, 86, passed away on May 6, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

She was born in Berlin, Germany on July 14, 1936, to Johann and Sophia (Guzlanka) Konieczny.

Ingrid moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1966 and was married to Thomas L. Dalton until his passing. Throughout the years of her life, she worked at the Drumstick Restaurant and Furr’s Cafeteria and then became a homemaker. Some of her favorite pastimes were gambling, enjoying the Kentucky Derby, dog races, playing Bingo and going to Cripple Creek. She loved to sing, dance, listen to old school music, and go bowling. She will be dearly missed by her children and family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas L. Dalton; and daughter, Luanna D. Dalton.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Martina S. Konieczny and son, Roger M. Konieczny; two grandchildren, Anneline Hjelle Wang, Kristoffer Hjelle; and four great-grandchildren. 

There are no services at this time, the family has trusted The Springs Funeral Services with her cremation.
