My mother resides at Mount St Francis and was blessed to often share a table with Ingrid in the dining room. My mother is blind and Ingrid would often help her find her silverware and would push her plate and cups closer to her. Ingrid didn't often speak but her eyes were full of kindness.
My husband often accompanies me on my daily visits with my mom and he would tease with Ingrid, trying to persuade her to eat things on her plate that she didn't think she wanted. They would laugh and she'd pat his arm. It was obvious to us, even in her last days, that she had quite a personality.
We want to extend our sincerest sympathy to Ingrid's family. We found her delightful and I'm sure she was a bright light to those her loved her and knew her well. May the Lord bless and comfort you in your sorrow and may your treasured memories bring you peace.
With our kindest regards,
Elaine and Paul Taravella
