Ron was an absolute GODSEND to MANY students at Edith Wolford Elementary School and to me over the years when he ran the Chess Club there. I owe my love of chess to him as I am sure countless others do, too. I learned from the master so that when he "retired," I could take it over! He also was instrumental in correcting thousands of Continental Math League and WordMasters tests for me, programs sponsored by the Talented and Gifted program. I SO appreciated his friendship and dedication over the years! I valued having such a wonderful "senior" in my life. May he rest in peace! My condolences to his family!
