I miss my Grandpa and Grandma. I miss calling them and spending time with them when I was little. I remember cleaning up the church every saturday with my grandpa when I would come up for the summer. Or going to my Aunt Mary and Aunt Dells to do some yard work. I could never keep up with my Grandpa. Not even when I got older. I appreciate the world more because of my Grandfather. He showed me the beauty the world had to offer. With him it was always through a camera lens. I just like to sit around and take it all in. I miss my Grandparents very much as well as my Dad. I lost all three very close to each other. I look at the few pictures that I have all the time. Missing them more and more every day.

Dear Uncle Louie, I had a feeling something was wrong when the last letter dated April 1st. wasn't written by you. I miss your letters already and miss writing and telling you what's been going on. I often think of when me and my brothers Peter and John were kids at grandma's house how you use to always make us laugh, you were so good natured. I'm hoping along with Aunt Polly my mom and the rest of your siblings were there when you passed. Love you, Connie

Dear Uncle Lou, I was so sad to hear of your passing and will miss terribly the letters and pictures you have sent over the years - never forgetting birthdays or anniversaries or the many names of all your great great nieces and nephews! I was always amazed by that! Although we were thousands of miles away, it felt good to be in contact with one of my late grandmother's brothers (and my late father's uncle). I never got the chance to meet many of them in person, including you, but through your letters I got to know you and I will always cherish them. It was clear through your letters and poems that you were a very religious man (as was my grandmother "Nin", your sister Theresa) and I take comfort knowing that you've been reunited with your dear wife Polly and the Lord you dedicated so much of your life to. Rest In Peace, Uncle Lou Love, Tracy (Quaranto) Pilla
