I grew up living across the street from you and your family. You were always there for us even when my dad went to Vietnam. You were there for me when we moved back into the area at Watson Jr. High and then Widefield. You were always so positive and took the time to help others. You will be deeply missed. I do have to apologize that I did not know of your passing until today. I wish I could of been there to say goodbye. Your family are in my heart and prayers.

I am saddened by the passing of your kind & wonderful husband, father, and grand father. He was truly a great person of heart, inspirational and a true leader in the whole since of those few words. My past in playing baseball with Mark and his dad are days I sometimes reflect on as I get older and those days were full of joy and of course hard work with Don as the coach. He gave of himself so much in those years I can only think that he loved what he did and he did what he loved. It gives me great pleasure to have known him in my life in that moment in time when we were kids growing up and he will be missed by all who knew him and me. Always gracious and kind with a smile, always willing to help and assist without a word of complaint. I am sorry for your grieving, but thank you for such a great manâ₦â₦â₦â₦
