Dad, I had to do one of the hardest things I will ever do, say goodbye to you. I have always looked up to you and all you have taught us. I love you and will miss you with all I am. I am the wife, mother and grandmother I am because of you and mom. I will do my best to keep your memory alive with all the kids. Julie went with me and her daddy {Sammy} to see mom on Saturday and the first thing she asked is ''where's great grandpa?'' I told her to look up to the clouds. . . . Grandpa is sitting on one watching us. You always watched. Never offered your opinion unless asked. But boy when you were asked! We will miss you with all our hearts. Take care of our little grandbaby until God sends her to us. You will always be in my heart. I love and miss you so very much. Goodbye Daddy. Debbie

Mr Big - - your family and mine have shared a special closeness for over 40 years. That relationship will continue to go on, but we will forever miss you in it. Don't know if your wings will get in the way - but I'm sending one more great big last hug up your direction.

I am truely sorry for our loss of one of the greatest men that lived. The one greatest memory I have is: Everytime I saw Willie, I stooped or kneeled down so that my Uncle would be shorter than me. as daddy told me this is one of the wonderful memories that he also remembered. I will always love and miss you Willie. Peace be with you until we meet again in the presence of the Almighty Father, his Only Begotten Son and The Holy Spirit. My prayers go out to all the family as I know that we will all miss him greatly in our own ways. Love you all.

I, too, will miss you tremendously! You were an awesome brother and friend. I know you will keep an eye (or even two) on Nell from heaven. If anyone has been awarded angel wings, it is you, Big Bro. I love you so much and will miss your silly jokes you would leave me with when I called. God Speed!! Our love to all the family.

We said our final goodbyes to you today at your funeral and as much as my heart hurt and i wanted you back, I remembered all the good times we have had together! you were always there to make me laugh with all of your blonde jokes and humor. everyone said that you always had a twinkle in your eye, but i knew the truth. the twinkle always meant u were up to something! theres nothing more that i would like than to have you back, but i know you can breathe now and i'm so grateful for that. You faught as hard as you could and thats all we could ask. i'll never forget the ass cheeks and elbows story you told me at the muffler shop! you are my hero and there will never be another man in this world like you. God has just brought home an amazing man. i love you grandpa and my heart is breaking. i promise you, i will keep you alive through my memory and tons of stories. Make sure you keep a place for me up there, even if they do try to kick me out ;-) i love you so much. love Tiff

Bill, Thank you for the forty-plus years of memories. You and Charlie have been so very special to me and my family.I will never forget the time you took all of us kids to the Sand Dunes. I remember laughing out loud with you so many times. You will be deeply missed, and forever remembered. Our two families have merged as one for so many years. I suppose Heaven needed more humor and that's where you were needed right now.I love you Bill. Keep an eye on all of us please. Rest well my friend.Thank you a million times for sharing in my life. I know how hard this time can be and I also know there are no words that I could give that would ease your pain, just know that he is in a better place and no longer in pain. Shorty gave this world a wonderful gift of laughter, love, friendship and his legacy will carry on through his children. It has been our pleasure to have known such a great man and know if there is anything we can do, just ask. Both of us know the sorrow you feel, but know in your heart that he is always there, that contagious smile and twinkle in his eyes. We love you all very much and are honored to call you family.
