Dear Col Paulson, Casey & Kailey, I am so sorry for your loss. Susie was so wonderful. She was the first Commander's wife I ever met and truly set the bar for others. She took me in from day one and treated me like family when mine was so far away. I was truly blessed to be placed in a unit with her as a part of it. I will never forget her generosity, thoughtfulness and huge heart. I will always carry fond memories of her wherever I go. I will keep you all in my prayers, thoughts and heart daily.

Dear Col Paulson, Casey, and Kailey, Our hearts broke when we heard the news of your beloved Susie passing. Susie loved life, she loved her military life, and she loved all of you. Susie set the standard for military wives. In a moments notice, she could turn a room into a celebration that was remembered by everyone in attendance. Her smile was contagious, her laugh memorable. I wish you all the best and pray that you find comfort through you memories of Susie. All of you will be in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless, Jose and Laura Santos

Dear Ajrn, Casey & Calie, I would just like you to know that meeting all the family was such a bright spot in Roger's and my life. When I met Susan the first time, she was an absolute delight. I felt I had known her a long time. At Roger's Memorial, Casey had said to me that he would be my rock. I was so impressed by that. I don't think I can be your rock but maybe I can be a little pebble in your life. Please take care of yourselves and God Bless You. Love, Willy Ellis

Ajrn- My very first memory of Susan was when you two were in high school and we were all at grandma and grandpa's house. I think out of complete boredom you decided it would be funny to play "keep away" from me- however, I was not finding any humor in it what so ever!! It was Susan that came to my rescue and saved me from the torture of my loving cousins!! She touched my heart that day, and I realized what a special caring person she was!! I also realized how lucky my cousin was to have caputred her heart. Please remember Ajrn, even though we have states between us, we are only a phone call or email away. I'll help support you and your family in any and every way a family supports each other in a time of need. Loving you all, Pam, Brian, Austin and Emmy

Ajrn, There are not enough words to tell you how I much I want to say. I am so sorry for your loss. I know, through your parents and mine, she was the light of your life and a the love of your life. Through our own recent loss, I know you must be heart broken, but I just pray that God will wrap his arms around you, give you strength and encouragement to get through this time of sadness. Susan passed 2 days after my Mom so I have to think they are rejoicing in heaven together. If you ever need to talk, you know you always have another family with us...me or Dad. We both think the world of you. Hugs to you and many many prayers of comfort. Tammie

Dear Arjn, Casey, and Kailey, Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. You shared Susan with us in Oregon, Scotland and Colorado. She was an exceptional person. We could see the love that she had for her very special family shinning in her eyes and reflected in her quiet smile which occasionally turned into a mischievous grin. She loved being around people and making a home for her family. This has been a blow to all that knew her. We will keep a special eye on your Oregon family for you during this difficult time. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.

We are shocked to hear about the passing of Susie, and our hearts are heavy thinking about your family during this time. We met Susie at Hampton Oaks Elementary School in Stafford when we were stationed together in Virginia. Susie helped make our transition so much easier, and she was truly an amazing and inspirational person. We moved to the Springs about the same time and had some good memories. Unfortunately, we lost touch but we never forgot about her amazing spirit and beautiful family. Our hearts go out to all of you and we know there is one more angel in heaven named Susie. God bless you all.

Arjn, I enjoyed learning more about Susan's amazing zeal for life, passion for people and commitment to you and the children at her service. She's an amazing woman who lived every day of her 50+ years in an impactful way. I'm sure she is shaking up things in heaven now and on God's A team up there continuing his purpose for her. Remember this life is just a dress rehearsal for the big dance in heaven. I know she's got her dancing shoes on even now! Holly

Pichi and I know that time never really heals the pain of a passing so sudden. Yet, we also know that the memories we hold so dear sustain us in our hearts and through the days to come. For you Ajrn, Casey and Kaylie, Susies's life was the center of the universe, and if you are anything like us, you will never look skyward the same way anymore, knowing that Susie is out there somewhere beyond where we can see. We cherish our memories of Susie, the 4 thousand mile ride through the beautiful mountains west, Ballon Fiesta across the skies of New Mexico, the good times, the love and friendship. God bless you all. Pichi and Michael
