Obituary of David Sunil Bideshi, Sr.
David born on June 14th, 1958 in Suva, Fiji Islands. He attended Dudley High School in Suva, Fiji Islands and also attended and graduated from Aiea High School in Hawaii in 1978.Sergeant Bideshi was assigned to the 834th Airlift Division at Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii and worked directly for the Director of Operations for the 834th Airlift Division.In 1982, he was reassigned and promoted as the Assistant Chief of the 15th Airbase Wing. In June 1984, Sergeant Bideshi was selected through a competitive process as the Director of Administrative Department PACAF NCO PME Center, Wheeler AFB, Hawaii.He also served his country in Germany and was posted at Robinson Barracks in the early 90's.Tech Sergeant David S. Bideshi's last Duty Assignment and Major Command was (AFSPC) 11 SPACE WARNING at Schriever AFB, CO and His Primary Specialty was in Information Management.Commendations, Decorations, Medals, Badges, Citations, and Campaign Ribbons Awarded :Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Air Force Training Ribbon, Air Force Overseas Long Tour Ribbon with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Award with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Joint Meritorious Silver & 1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster.He Retired with Honors after 25 years of service and was subject to be recalled to Active Duty by the Secretary of Air Force because of His Awards, vast experience and service with the military.David will receive Full Military Honors and David, Jr. will be presented with an American Flag in honor of his father's service.David Sunil Bideshi, Sr., was married to the late Denise Bideshi. He went to be with his lovely wife, Denise and daughter, Lahela Zoe.He is survived by his son, David Sunil Bideshi, Jr., sister in Hawaii, Sheila M. Maharaj, Brother-in-law, Michael M. Maharaj, nephews, Michael S. Maharaj, Jr., and Peter N. Maharaj, niece, Kiran D. Polk, grand-nieces, Shivana and Prianka Maharaj, Aunt, Janie Shah in New Zealand, and family in Canada and many other nephews and nieces worldwide, hundreds of Friends that have been Family to him in Colorado that love him and David Jr., and all his pets, especially his beloved dog, Liko.HE WAS BAPTIZED A CHRISTIAN IN 1958 AT THE DUDLEY METHODIST CHURCH IN SUVA, FIJI ISLANDS. HE WAS BAPTIZED IN CHRIST AND SHALL RISE IN CHRIST TO SHARE HIS ETERNAL GLORY. MAY THE GOOD LORD WELCOME HIM INTO HIS KINGDOM AND GRANT HIM ETERNAL PEACE.
