The loss of a father is life changing.. It's something we will never forget or get over. Daddy had a personality and loving heart that was always such an uplifting embrace. He will be sorely missed by many. I can accept this because I know how much better off he is now. No more pain.. no more sorrow.. My biggest regret is that we didn't have more time. Reflecting on that thought, I will embrace the people around me in a much more meaningful way. I love you Daddy and look forward to a great reunion one day.

Dear Currie Family: My heart goes out to all of you during this most difficult time. I wanted you all to know that what I remember most about Jim was that the firt time I met him he came up and gave me a hug and welcomed me into the family and I knew that he truly meant it. He just had a way about him that made you feel very comfortable as if you had known him all of your life. I hope that you find comfort in knowing that he is now in the company of the loved ones that left this earth before him and that we will all be with him again one day. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dad when I got married I got the best gift in the world "YOU" the best father-in-law a young lady could ask for. I am so blessed to be part of your family and would never ask for a better family than yours while you brought me in and loved me as I was your own daughter . You fought a tough battle dad and are not in pain anymore. It will not be the same without you here. Makaila sure misses her Grandpa very much and loves you dearly. We love you and miss you so very much.

I worked with Jim at American National for over 10 years. He was one of the nicest managers I have ever worked with, and the only one to have the coffee pot on when I got to the office. I know we were co-workers but I've always considered him and his family my friends. I know he will be missed by everyone who new him.

A Prayer for "The Currie Family" Our lives can feel uprooted in a time of loss and grief... it seems we are forsaken as we struggle for belief and yet Gods quiet waters of hope and courage flow to nourish and sustain us more deeply than we know... And in time of Sorrow, our prayers are heard on high for light and life and comfort... as healing time goes by. May God hold you and comfort you in the days ahead. Jim will be missed by many. He had such a giving heart. Love Danny & Carlene

A Wish and a Prayer For Jim May your spirit soar in freedom From the fears that gripped so tight May you find the peace your searched for As you battled, in this final fight. May your tortured mind be clear and calm And your tender heart be warm. May you have no need for strength now May there ne'er be another storm. May the music of the angels Be the sweet sounds that you hear. As you walked through Heaven's Gates May you ne'er shed another tear. I'll wear your memory proudly My Brother...my true friend. May my love for you reach to Heaven above Until we meet again.
