Although I was just a child, I knew Mr. Gonnella for his friendship with my dad, who he served as a pallbearer in 1968. Both he and his wife were supportive to my family and I remember all of his children: Bobby, Jenny and Peter David. I am so sorry that I was unable to extend my gratitude to him sooner. But he and my dad are up there exchanging stories. Thank you Mr. Gonnella.

Oh Mr Gonnella,, How I remember your laugh..and we all had quite a few of those..My deepest sympthy to Judi, Jenny and Pete...We lived almost together on Kona and had some very good time's along with some no so good..You were there for my Children when they needed you Bob and Now your children have a gardian angel watching over them and the grandchildren..God give Judi the peace she needs now...all my Love Becky and Family

I am so grateful for my time spent with Bob and Judy. I always felt like I was coming home when I walked through their door. I was blessed to know Bob. He was a gentle man who loved his family and any mention of you all always put a smile on his face. Bob will always hold a special place in my heart and I hope he's out there painting a beautiful painting and putting a few balls around.

I have such wonderful memories of my Uncle Bob! I will always remember staying with them in San Diego, Uncle Bob in his uniform. He always played with us and made us feel so special. Mr. Gonnella you will be deeply missed, you where an amazing man and loved by all. You took care of us kids on Kona Place and where always there for us. Precious memories will endure and so his life will continue on within you. Looking at his youthful photo, I can see so much of him in you, Jen, and I know that your care for him in these last years was the greatest gift a daughter can give a father.
