From the Fromson family, we express our condolences to Kay and the extended Robertson family in this trying time. For myself, I now find it necessary to express to Virgil's friends and family of how important he was to me and how his lessons, his friendship, and his mentoring were a gift I cannot yet fully measure. It has seemed to me for many years that almost all the important lessons I learned were on or near the basketball courts. The discipline, the responsibility, the honor, the hard work, and excellence he sought and demanded from us that were part of the basketball team, I have continued to seek out and demand from myself in all aspects of my life. And, when I have fallen short, Virgil's teachings remind me I can do better or I can do more. I lament Virgil's passing greatly and profoundly, and wish to express again my family's sympathies.
