Dear Ted, Stacy, and Michael~ Our prayer is that God's peace and comfort fill each heart that loved David. May all who knew him also know the joy of his salvation through his Savior, Jesus Christ. We only knew David for the first 6yrs. of his life, but what a joy he was to our family as he and Michael played with our Luke and Cody! It is so good to know of his love for the Lord throughout his life. Praise God for his testimony! Although our family cannot be there for David's services, our good friend John H. will be there representing us. His heart was also touched by David's passing. He always stopped in to update us on his life and to share his adventures and plans. We were drawn to his passion for life and his smile the first time he walked in. David was always smiling. He became such an important part in our entire family's lives. He surprised me by planting a lilac tree in my backyard, not too mention, he landscaped my entire yard, just because he knew I loved the smell of lilacs. He mentored my only son, They spent so much time together...movies, bowling, hanging out. He was a best friend to my oldest daughter Tawny and high school sweetheart to Karly my second born, whom she still loved but was afraid to tell him. He was so close to God and his faith showed in everything he did. He will certainly be missed more than words can put.

Sweet baby David, how blessed is Heaven now with your inclusion there. We will miss you heartily until we can join you. So many there with you to visit, share and greet. Back when David was hanging around our place when him and my little brother were in grade-school, I remember that David made a point to be open about his faith. He was strong and deliberate about Christ's presence in his life. He is no doubt receiving a great reward in Heaven for who he was here. All we have is our one life on earth to show we were strong enough to accept grace and be missionaries.

David was always so much fun to watch at the Vista Ridge wrestling matches. My sone wrestled on varsity as a freshman and I know the kind words of encouragement from both David and Mike will always drive him to do better on the mat as well as in life. RIP sweet David.
