Obituary of Charles Louis Weinert

Charles Louis Weinert, 66, of Willow Park, TX died Sunday, March 17th, losing a hard fought battle against heart disease. The fighter pilot in him never gave up.He was the only child to the late George & Bea Weinert, born November 6, 1946 in Cleburne, TX. Charlie graduated from Paschal High School in 1965, received a BA in Aeronautical Engineering from the US Air Force Academy in 1969, and continued his love of learning to earn two master degrees & completed the course work on a doctorate. Needless to say he was well educated and could converse on any topic. He was always telling a good story to anyone who would listen, generally with himself playing a starring role.He loved flying for the US Air Force, Reserves, & National Guard along with his time with Braniff International Air Lines. He stayed involved with the Air Force Academy Class of '69 and Braniff International Silver Eagles events.Charlie's other interests included hunting, fishing, soaring, playing the flute, and drawing.
