I have too many memories of Uncle Jim to list them all. He was 16 years older than me so in my earliest memories I looked up to him as someone i wanted to emulate. He had the coolest car ever. He introduced me to Black Cat fireworks. My first pheasant hunt was with Uncle Jim and Uncle Harry. He could ride a horse with ease. He was also really good at freeing the cows that Chet roped in the coral. I also started to recognize, through my Uncle Jim, what a tender heart looked like. He made me fell safe. I saw his love for Sherry, Kent and Michele, and for Grandpa and Grandma Harmon and his extended family. He was always a gentleman and never saw himself as "above" others. He was such a humble man. Because of his humility, I don't think he had any idea of his influence and impact on me and my brothers (the 4 Robinson boys who had lost their Dad). I always admired Jim for his life of hard work and how he provided for his family...again, an example to me...serve and care for your family. Thank you Uncle Jim! Love you Aunt Sherry. Your endurance and perseverance in caring for your husband was an amazing demonstration of your love for him. Michele, I'm thankful you had such an amazing Dad. I admired your relationship with your Dad. Your love for each other has always been evident. Praying for you, Aunt Sherry, Michele, Chris and Kerri Jo.

Sherry, we have always been proud to call both Jim and yourself our cousins as well as our friends. Jim will be missed by his many family members as well as his friends but we know he is in a better place and pain free. Sherry, Jim was especially fortunate to have you to love and care for him like you did.

Jim, my little brother, my big brother and my only brother. You are missed so much. I know where you are and someday we will meet again when the "Roll Is Called Up Yonder", we will all be there. No one has ever had a brother like mine. When my boys dad passed away Uncle Jim was there for all of us. We all love you Jim. See you soon. Love and miss you!!! Your sis Bev

Jim was such a big man in my eyes. A great disposition, integrity, a big heart, a GOOD man. An unforgettable laugh. You couldn't help but smile when you were near him, whether it was Thanksgiving hunts, family reunions. and even golfing. I am blessed to have gotten to call him my uncle. Sherry, Michele, Kerri Jo and Chris my thoughts and prayers are with you all. The world needs more people like Jim. He will be missed!!

I am so very sorry to hear of Jim's passsing. Seems like just the other day that we spent quite a bit of time together. Although he was the closest to Ervin, I still spent some time e njoying them both. Here's hoping you are doing OK and know that he will be sorely missed.
