Obituary of Diane Lee Brautigam

After a long battle with Breast Cancer, Diane passed away on February 10, 2014, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on June 22, 1947, in Dorchester, Massachusetts and moved to Colorado Springs in 1988 to work for Colorado Interstate Gas until retirement in 2002.Diane graduated from the University of Massachusetts, earning her Bachelor's degree in Business Management, received her Master's degree from Chapman University of California, and her Professional Certification in Human Resources Management from the Society of HR Professionals; she also earned Enrolled Agent Status from the IRS. In her spare time, Diane loved bike riding, hiking, and skiing in the great state of Colorado.Diane is preceded in death by her loving Mom and Dad, James and Vera Farley; her biological father, Arthur Segerstedt; her brother-in-law, John Welsh; and her nephew, Timothy Segerstedt. Diane is survived by her loving husband, Arthur Brautigam; brothers, Peter, Ritchie, and Michael; sisters, Judy, Nancy, and Mackie; numerous nieces and nephews; God children; and friends both in Boston and Colorado Springs. Visitation, 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Friday, February 14, 2014, at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue.
