Thankful that God brought your family into our lives 30 years ago and that we have had the privilege of having you all as friends. Alan will be sorely missed. I cannot get my hair done without hearing him say something about my "dreadlocks" after the times he walked into the kitchen while you were perming my hair. Love you Blanche, Missy and Amanda!

I have fond memories of Alan. We were close in age and he was one of my favorite cousins. I remember being so sad when he moved away. I am sure I will see him again someday. Heaven now has another fine soul. Peace to all of you......

I enjoyed my time with Alan. I regret that we were unable to spend more time together. A few gestures of kindness meant the world to me, and I will always remember them. I know it has been a long, hard battle, both for Alan and for the family. I would have loved to have contributed some comfort, beyond prayers but those prayers will continue now that the journey is over. Where one journey ends, another begins, for Alan and for us all.
