Obituary of James Michael Stanich

Jim Stanich passed away on October 25, 2014. He was born in Chisholm, Minnesota on July 15, 1960 to Dorothy and Richard Stanich, both deceased. Jim graduated from Chisholm High School and went on to obtain technical training in electronic door repair. Upon completing this training he moved to Colorado Springs. Jim owned and operated a variety of businesses over the years including a car wash, lighting company and bar. His most noted time was spent as a Farmers Insurance agent.Jim had a definite "gift of gab" which served him well in his varied employment. He enjoyed cooking and sharing those meals with friends. He loved cars, going to Las Vegas, sports, beautiful music and making people laugh at a good joke or story. He was generous to a fault.Jim is survived by sisters, Sheryl (Larry) Klancher of Hudson, Wisconsin and Patricia (Steve) Urich of Chisholm, Minnesota; brother, David (Vicky) Stanich of Eagan, Minnesota; and extended family.A private memorial Mass will take place in Minnesota in the future.
