I would like to express my condolences at this time to your family. The Bible is a great source of encouragement at times like this. A comforting thought is at Revelation 21:3,4, where it states "...And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry be anymore the former things have past away". This scripture gives us hope for the future! You can also find comfort in Acts 24:15 - Death does not end it all. May Jehovah God bring you comfort and peace during this difficult time. Looking at the beautiful angelic face on this sight, brings back so many memories about this wonderful lady. I had known Maggie for a very long time and she always treated me as her closest friend. Even though I did not work in the same department as she did, she always would come by and talk to me giving me that beautiful smile and just making my day. One of my fondest memories is how she would always bring me a piece of her very delicious banana, chocolate chip cake because she knew I loved it. I will miss her dearly but I am consoled knowing that I will again see her soon. My prayers go out to the family and Angela if there is anything you might need, I cannot do much, but at least I can talk. My thoughts are with you every minute. Love always

Maggie's was the smile that livened up many, many, tense work days for me. She taught me to keep my cool when it was hard to do so. She was the first person to take the time to show me it is okay to be grown up and silly on Halloween. She was always elegant and cheerful. It is difficult to write this in the past tense, and I only do so in the hope that my comment will shed a little more light on a wonderful person I was privileged to know. Maggie was a true friend to me for almost 35 years. We met when Progressive first opened an office in Austin in January, 1980. When she moved to Colorado and I moved to Cleveland, we continued to stay in touch. She loved her family more than anything, and took her work seriously. It saddens me greatly that she won't be around for her grandchildren as they grow up. It comforts me to know that her own kids have had such a great role model. And to Joel, my heart goes out to you. She was a gem.

Maggie was a dear friend of mine that i will cherish her friendship forever. I was very blessed to have had the opportunity to know and love her. She was a proud Wife, Mother, and Grandmother who dearly loved those grandchildren and wanted nothing more but to be there for all of them.
