Obituary of James Anthony Bornkamp

James Anthony Bornkamp was born May 28, 1999 in Toms River, New Jersey and died February 4, 2015. James moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado three years ago and was a Star Scout with Boy Scout Troop 101.He attended Cheyenne Mountain High School, where he was active in band. He played the piano and saxophone. He enjoyed video games, especially Kingdom Hearts. He also liked camping and being with his friends. He loved to travel and had already traveled to 16 states. James was a junior life guard and enjoyed whitewater rafting. He was a person who loved everyone. He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Peterson; his father, Daniel C. Bornkamp, sister, Amber Degregorio; brother, Ford Bornkamp; his grandmothers, Betty Peterson and Linda deQuintal; an uncle, Tom Peterson; his aunt, Adrienne Peterson; and a cousin, Gavin.
