To the Family of James Anthony Bornkamp: Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". I'm so very sorry for you loss. My son was in scouts along with James. My son said James was always so nice to him and always made him feel like part of the group. A year or 2 ago I drove James and my son to an overnight camp with the Troop. James kept us so entertained the entire way with all his stories and comments. He made the ride so enjoyable. He left such a wonderful impression with my son and myself. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as will James.

Jenn, You are such a wonderful, loving mom. I cannot begin to fathom the depth of your pain. I wish I could be there to squeeze you tight and help take some of your pain, to bear for you. I feel like nothing I could say could come close to the joy I know you brought your family and friends. I remember when I first met you thinking all those years ago, this kid will make a great linebacker one day. I think I even mentioned that to your mom if I remember correctly. I wish I could make it out to Colorado to pay my respects, but this will have to do. Jennifer, my soul hurts for your loss and no parent should out live their children. There are no words I could possibly speak to you that could make what you have to do any easier or any less painful. I don't know the circumstances behind Jimmy having to leave you so soon and maybe you'll tell one day but know that I am here any time you need a shoulder to lean on or just an ear to bend.

We all love you Jen and we are here if ever need anything .We were so blessed to have gotten to know James ,We were at I believe it was his first birthday party and I remember his amazing smile when he tasted the cake .
