Remembering my friend La Dawn, she was always smiling and so down to earth. The White Elephant Christmas parties at her house were always standing room only! She had a flair about her, sometimes bigger than life....loved color and did not hesitate to wear it! That was our La Dawn. Go sweet lady, be with your boys and sleep well my dear friend.

My thoughts, prayers and love are with you. When I think of LaDawn, a smile automatically happens. I think of palm trees and all of the cruises we enjoyed - the Caribbean will never be the same and the shops will definitely miss her. I think of the numerous glasses of wine and laughter with just the girls at one of our homes (don't forget the deviled eggs), or at a restaurant (where if they were smart, they stuck us in a back corner) or at Ginger's cabin (and the yellow brick road!). There were also the many years of Halloween parties - every one has a special memory - all of us jumping in the back of Tom's pick-up and going Trick or Drinking, Lady Godiva (Dave) in all her glory, and hours of dancing, laughing and munching and Bill flew in for all of them! And we can't forget all of the camping trips - rafting down the Platte, sitting around the campfire (with our bags of wine), breakfast with Bill's hash and LaDawn's eggs (she had to cook them in the trailer), and of course, who can forget the tornado going right through our camp (1st and last time for Ginger). The time LaDawn, Vickie & I were wandering barefoot through the cactus in the back yard! - our trips to Vegas and Laughlin (so damn hot!) - and the slumber party at Pam and Dave's empty house with sleeping bags all over the floors, but I don't remember anyone getting any sleep except maybe the kids. Thanks for the wonderful memories!!!!
