My hero has but a third grade education, but he is the smartest man I know. This man is my grandfather Ed "Fast Eddie" Wescott. I say he had only third grade education because in the time he was raised they didn't know what dislexia was. Against all odds my hero went on to become a husband and father and grandfather and great grandfather. A business owner andthe man that will do anything in the world for you. He taught me how to grow and love. When I was a young boy I remember him working almost all day and night during the winter months because our city streets had to be clear of snow..... I would finish this speech I gave my freshman year at LCC but I can't get through it now. Grampy you will always be my Hero I will always miss you and Nana (mom and dad). I know you are better off now that your home with Nana so make here take that cruise she can't get sea sick in heaven. Love you, Brian

Ed was a good man who was there for his family. He had a gruff exterior, but a heart of gold. He will be missed, but we know that if he is reunited with Shirley, he will be content.

Uncle Eddie was always there for everyone and had a heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off his back and I know he's in a better place with Auntie Shirley. Love your niece, Linda
