I am not able to attend the service for John today,but I want to say to the family that,John was in life,as he will always be, my best and most influential friend on this planet.We experienced most things for the first time together.Those things whether good or bad were ours to share.I always cherished those times.You guys may not remember this,but in the fifth grade,John and I were in this special science class after the regular school day was over.We got to,with the help of Mr Dauraty,our teacher,to figure out why and how most things in our world are what they are.John and I received our Holly Confirmation together and spent many hours in caticism together at St. Mary's.We got to form our core beliefs together there.The rest we got from your mother Murial.All of you Hickey's played a big part of my childhood.
