Obituary of Brig. Gen. Richard Lee Fullerton, USAF,

Brig. General (Ret.) Richard Lee Fullerton passed away at home December 12, 2016. He was born August 10, 1961 to Allan and Ruby Fullerton in Moab, Utah. After graduating Valedictorian from Norman High School in Oklahoma, Rich attended the United States Air Force Academy where he graduated #1 in the Class of '83. Of greatest importance to Richard, while in Colorado Springs he met and married his wife, Brenda Lee, after graduation. He went on to ENJJPT and after completing both pilot training and being assigned as a First Assignment Instructor Pilot at Sheppard AFB, he moved on to flying the F-15 Eagle at Bitburg AB, Germany. After multiple assignments spanning the globe, he finally arrived in his dream job as Permanent Professor and Department Head of Economics and Geosciences at USAFA, where he finished out the last thirteen years of his thirty-one-year distinguished career.Richard's priorities in life were God and Family. He was active in his church at First Baptist Church of Black Forest. He had three children, Matthew, Sarah, and Daniel, and loved them all dearly. Rich is survived by his wife, Brenda; children, Matthew and Sarah; daughter-in-law, Karleigh; grandchild, Rachel; his mother, Ruby; and two brothers, Ron and Randy.
