"Well done good and faithful servant! Now enter into the joy of the Lord!" I'm sure Vicki heard those words from our dear Lord since she was such a good example of kindness and humility. She was very instrumental in my (and my husband and children) returning to the Church and I will be forever in her debt. I am so grateful that I met her almost 20 years ago and for all that she taught me. By her example ( and a lot of patience!) I saw what it means to love God and others by serving Him in the vocation of marriage and family. One example...when I first met her at park day, I had so many questions (about the faith, homeschooling etc), that she suggested I call her at home, which I did. When she answered she said that she was just about to start family prayer time and could she call me back? Wow. It made such an impression on me and what's really neat is that she actually called me back! Haha...I think her youngest was about a year old or so. She took time out of her busy schedule for me. I was really touched. Our prayers are with her and the family at this special time of both grieving and yet thanking God for His grace to have known her.
