Muriel leaves a beautiful legacy of passion for the LORD Jesus, fervent vision for evangelism, persevering prayer, intentional discipleship, the ministry of hospitality both in her home and at North Heights Lutheran Church, and many fond memories for us - her friends and family. I can still "see" Muriel standing at the front of a bus parked at North Heights' Arden Hills location giving last minute reminders to that busload of believers who would soon join many hundreds of Christians of all ages from across the Twin Cities in the "March For Jesus" procession through the streets of downtown Minneapolis all the way to St. Paul - with worship music blaring from speakers mounted on pickup trucks, colorful banners and flags, and signs proclaiming the goodness of our God! The wholeheartedness witnessed by many in "March for Jesus" reminds me of Muriel who truly loved and served the LORD with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength (Luke 27:10), and put her many talents to work for the good of others. You are loved, Muriel. Surely you are fully alive in His Presence, His Love, and in His Glory in Heaven. Thank you for a life well-lived.

So sorry to hear of Muriel's death, however, I have no doubt that she is having great conversations with Jesus! She was a wonderful lady who taught me personally how to stand strong in my faith and in my calling. I will miss her but I am confident she will have many things to tell me when I see her again! She has always wanted to hear "well done, thou good and faithful servant". I am positive she has heard those words.

Al and Muriel led our first exposure to Crown Ministry and we ultimately followed in their footsteps leading many classes. Your parents were wonderful role models and we always enjoyed talking with them. Blessings and God's peace.

Our family loved your Mom and Dad. We worked side by side with them at North Heights Lutheran Church. She taught our Son, John, at Faith Academy. Muriel was filled with the love of Jesus and showed it to everyone who crossed her path. She had the gift of hospitality --welcoming many into her home. We will meet her again in heaven along with all the saint that Muriel introduced to Jesus. We pray a blessing on each of her family members--you have a rich heritage.

We just heard of the death of dear Muriel's body on Sunday at church. Although I was fond of your dad and well remember his passing, I was close to and prayed with Muriel and attended her Lifestyle Evangelism classes. I have regarded her as a powerful prayer warrior and a woman who had a true servant leader's heart alight with love, joy and peace. I have missed her at church, but am so glad she had good care with her family these last difficult years.

Dear Family, Lori and I were Extremely Blessed by Muriel and many ways. Her voice of wisdom and love came to us many times at very critical times. Her passion for the Lost and hurting was very very strong. She blessed us through continual prayer for the Outreach that we started and it has flourished largely on the power of her prayers.

Dear Family, Eric and I were so blessed by your mama and her family over the years. She welcomed me into the Evangelism department at Nth. Heights and mentored me. We were partners in Ministry til she retired. We loved your folks and together discipled many folks with them. She was a big sister to me. We prayed for one another's families for years. She gifted many with her wisdom and enthusiasm and devotion to Jesus! Our love goes out to you all and prayers for comfort and strength. She and Al are together once again and that is comforting and she is face to face with her Jesus!

Margaret, I have thought of your Mom numerous times in the past, oh, 40 years or so. I will never forget the commitment and dedication she gave to the girls of Girl Scout Troop 923 (?) in Roseville. She truly helped shape my life with the experiences she helped provide through Scouting. She will forever live in my heart. My condolences to you and your family.

I'm so sorry for the loss your family has experienced. Please accept my sincerest condolences. During such a difficult time, you may wonder where you can turn to for comfort. So I wanted to share a thought with you that always comforts me when I lose someone I love. It's found at Revelation 21:4. Here God is promising that soon he will heal all of our pain and suffering as well as eliminate death forever. What a beautiful promise from someone who cannot lie. I hope this brings you peace and helps you to heal.
