MSgt John Richard Archer, age 60, died on Friday, July 21, 2017 in Pueblo, Colorado. He was a member of the local VFW.He was born on October 2, 1956 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Richard Donald and Donna Jean (Herrmann) Archer.John worked as a hospital security guard and was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force.�No one was more full of love, kindness, selflessness, humor, and generosity. John always had an open heart, ready to counsel and guide anyone. He could always make you smile and laugh, even on your worst day.He will surely be missed by all those who knew him.He is survived by his wife, Deborah "Debbie" Archer; three daughters, Jessica (Steven) Lopez, ReeAnna Archer (Brandon Hoskins), and Amanda (Andrew) Mancuso; three brothers, Richard "Dick" (Cheryl) Archer, Paul (Amy) Archer, and Peter (Sue) Archer; three sisters, Jean Archer, Carol Archer (Curtis Lowe), and Karen (Gary) Turnquist; and his seven grandchildren, Donna, Alicia, Raechel, Rebecca, Alexcia, John, and Ashley.�John is preceded in death by his son, John Michael.Visitation, 3:00PM-4:00PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 4:00PM, Saturday, July 29, 2017 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.Inurnment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Avenue, South, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55450.
