Dear Rita, I can't believe that you are gone. It's going to take a while for this to sink in. I think that I am still in denial because I can't accept the fact that you are no longer on this earth. I miss you so much, and I will miss you every single day for the rest of my life. I will miss our deep philosophical and political discussions and sharing thoughts about books, movies and PBS shows. You always knew when I was down and when something was bothering me. You would get in touch with me at the right time, asking what was wrong because you hadn't heard from me. You would say that you knew something was wrong because I had "gone underground". That meant so much to me - that you cared so much. I will miss all of the craziness and the laughter and the hilarious emails that you sent me. I am so glad that I saved many of them - including some very funny poems that you wrote. I believe that you are with Jesus, and that I will see you again one day. A sister is a gift from God, and I have been doubly blessed because He gave me two beautiful sisters. Andrea and I will remain close to each other and will be there for Christa as much as possible. I will always love you dear sister and will never forget you. I just wish that I could have had one more hug. Diane

Christa and Shane - I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom sounds likes a beautiful sweet lady. It's never easy to lose your mom - I lost mine a year ago as you know and it's tough. Christa and Shane I was truly heartbroken when I heard about your mom. She was the kindest and sweetest person I ever worked with.
