Dear Denise- what joy entered our home when you and Jessica became devoted friends all those years ago at Coker Elementary School. I so enjoyed the photographic tribute which captured so well Jackie's ebullient spirit- I never saw her without a smile. She was the perfect Girl Scout Leader, taking on that responsibility with such great humor and energy- and patience. I see her smiling face at Fiesta selling Cornish pasties and shortbread- my favorite- it always makes me think of her.- along with horse brasses that ringed your fireplace. There is gratitude in knowing her struggle has ended, but that bright spark of her spirit lives on, I',m sure, in those lovely grandchildren. Know she was admired more than she could imagine!
