Obituary of JillMae McVicker Newnan

JillMae was a quirky and serious yet silly idealist with confidence and drive to match.She loved her friends and family. She loved America and never resented the personal sacrifices she made being an Air Force Brat. Jill often talked about a desire to join the Navy.She loved all animals (except centipedes) and adored birds. She shared a family passion for her four parrots, two budgies and many hens. JillMae is now outed as a closet birder who would go out of her way to see wild birds. She spent many afternoons visiting rescue parrots of Metro Denver Parrot Rescue at "The Perch".Talented in theatrical makeup, she would dress as a monster and walk around in public to her parent's chagrin.JillMae didn't always love school, but felt the deepest respect for almost all teachers. She understood that some had sorrows too and felt buoyed by the unity.If you were being bullied and JillMae was around, she would stop that mess right away. The only thing she hated more than bullies were racists. She was the child Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dreamed of who felt those of different races should lift each other up.Jill also loved memes, The Kardashians, and even really ugly little yappy dogs.Jill is survived by her parents, Lt. Col. Christopher H. Newnan, USAF and Denise C.
