I am saddened to hear of Maryanne's passing. She was a kind, gentle and funny person. She was a great friend to my Mama and I have fond memories of her at the antique shows. Maria, I pray that you will hold memories of her her close to your heart. My heart goes out to you at this time. May Maryanne's spunk and wittiness forever be remembered. Love- Amy Jo

We miss all of you back in the Sorings. Can't remember how long it's been, met clear back when you had the store on Powers, still have the glass we bought from you back then. Maria here's a hug from us. Brad and JoAnne Mann

I am hoping your family has the love and support of many at this difficult time. Something that soothes my heart is the comforting Bible passage at Jeremiah 29:11,12. These verses assure us that God's thoughts toward us are of peace, and for us to have a future and a hope. I hope this can soothe your heart as well. Part of this hope is that we have the promise of seeing our loved ones again. (John 5:28,29) That is truly a beautiful promise. Sincerely, Robin

My late mother, Lee Beyer, and I were great fans of Maryanne. We loved seeing Maryanne and Maria at area antiques shows and visiting with them, examining Maryanne's latest "old things," and talking about where she found them, how she knew what they were, as well as comparing notes about antiques such as salt cellars. I am so sad to realize that I will never see Maryanne again. Yet, I will remember how she persisted despite physical difficulties and what joy she shared with all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with Maria and all of Maryanne's family and friends...

On behalf of the entire Willowstone family, we share in your mourning. Maryanne was one of our favorite people inspiring us daily to be better and to always do our best, even if that wasn't easy. We will never forget her positive energy (or the stickers she would put on envelopes... one of my personal favorite touches!) We will forever be changed by her presence in our lives. She will be remembered daily and forever missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Maria, her family, loved ones and friends.

On behalf of the Society of Air force Nurses, please know we are also mourning with you the loss of our friend and colleague, Major Maryanne Haan. She was a remarkable woman who made a difference in many lives as she journeyed through life. She was a longtime member and Patron of the Society, and a donation will be made in her memory to the Women in Military Service for America (WIMSA) Memorial which stands at the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery. Maryanne will be missed , and she will not be forgotten by the Air Force Nursing Community. Linda J. Stierle, Brigadier General, USAF (Retired)
