I was so blessed to have been your niece. Your love for family was evident to us all. You always welcomed us to come visit and were even brave enough to host a Naughton family reunion in Colorado which meant entertaining 20 or so of us at one time. I will always remember how fun that was and your laughter at us kid's play but especially Kim, Krissy and Kathy's roles and watching the adults passing the "boot." It was there that i learned that family ties are strong and despite distances between us we could pick up right where we left off. You were part of so many milestones in my life...my college graduation, my wedding, my first trip to Las Vegas and so much more. You also helped my through the most difficult time in my life with the lose of my baby by sharing your story. Thank you for always being there, for your strength and for your love of family. I love you always❤

Lucille Ballweg Vickerman As your childhood friend I will lovingly remember you,, Darlene, with respect and awe. In decades of nursing, I've met few who've stared down, defeated, subdued, or made peace with all the nastiness of diabetes to live a rich, full life as you did. Your life story is replete with medical miracles at a time when treatment options available now were largely research visions. In the end diabetes did claim you, but it didn't deny you. Just as their love blessed and sustained you, you will live on in the family you inspired and loved so deeply. Well done, Darlene! Rest in peace in your heavenly home!

What a joy and privilege to have known and loved Aunt Darlene! Her faith, strength, endurance, inner joy, and love that she shared with her beloved nephew, Gary, our daughters, myself and entire family has been a most precious gift in llife. Just as the moments shared and the memories created in the past have helped shape who we are today, I am sure her spirit will remain to guide us in the future. I will miss so many things.........Spending time together, sharing our lives, talking of our faith/beliefs, praying for each other and our families, her smile, that infectious laugh, those twinkling eyes that could light up a room.........Yet, I rejoice for her. A wonderful life well lived on earth ending in God's ultimate healing and infinite love to begin a new eternal life. Glory be to God for creating this beautiful woman of faith and blessing us in this precious relationship! In love......Until we meet again.......Sherrie O--

So glad we got to visit Darlene and Richard when we were in Colorado. Our Sympathy to Dick and the rest of the family. Darlene and I went to school together all 12 years and dance many times together as we went to a lot of dances in the area when we were in High School.

Mom I love you with all my heart. You are an amazing woman and I was so blessed to be your daughter. You loved all of us unconditionally and molded each of us to be the best at all we do. My heart aches but I keep hearing your voice telling me to stay strong. I miss you so much Mom. Love always and forever Your youngest Kristine
