Obituary of Robert E. Benavidez

We mourn the passing of our loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend to all whose lives he deeply touched. Robert went to be with the Lord March 5, 2019.�Robert was born in Pueblo (Salt Creek) at home. He attended East High School. He started working at the Post Office in 1984.�He married his loving wife, Eleanor, April 13, 1975. Together, they had three beautiful children,�Nathan, Tara and Deanna. They lived in Pueblo for the kid's elementary years, but later moved to Colorado Springs in 1991 where he resided until his passing.�Nathan and Karen have two beautiful children, Alejandro and Brooke.Deanna and Mike have three beautiful children, Levi, Jaziah and Adrianna.Tara and Javier have two beautiful children, Roberto and Bella Grace.�Robert always carried his children in his heart from his first marriage, Robert Vasquez and Maggie Villarreal. Robert and his wife, Rachel, have three beautiful children, Juarex, Justina and Jayden. Maggie and her husband, Eddie, have five beautiful children, Amanda, Arianna, Arlene, Accalia and Eddie.�This made Robert a proud dad five times and a joyous grandpa to fifteen grandchildren. ��As a husband, he shared his heart with Eleanor. As a dad, he shared his devotion and strength with his family through his faith and being a great provider.�Robert was always smiling and every time he was around a friend or a loved one he always made them laugh. Robert loved the Broncos and loved to go out to eat, but most of all he loved his family.�Because of his belief in God, we know he is resting in His loving arms and we know he has been reunited with so many good friends and family that were waiting to greet him.�We love you so much and miss you and we know we will see you again.
