I was googling old friends from work last weekend and remembered last time I corresponded with Mike was soon after the move from Austin to Greeley. I worked with Mike in Omaha, Florida, and Austin (on visits) all with his same firm. I was deeply saddened to instead learn through this search of his passing a few years ago. Mike and I and Steve Vetter used to go out and cut firewood together in Omaha in the fall. Mike was of course a work colleague but more importantly a great work friend. We spent a lot of social time together off and on over the years. MIke was always friendly and light-hearted, willing to help you out, and fun to be around. It was my privilege to spend part of my life with him. My condolences to Vanessa and the entire family.

Mike was a great friend all through high school, and we were able to reconnect several years ago at a class reunion. He will be missed. Prayers to Vanessa and the rest of his family and friends.
