Obituary of Robert Frederick Buckman, Jr.
Robert Frederick Buckman, Jr. was born on March 20, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York.Rob was a kind, thoughtful, soft-spoken man. He was defined by his love of music and a love of drumming. Rob was part of several bands, most notably, The Majic Ship. They performed at concerts and released an album in New York. He then moved to Florida and was part of another band for a short while. He headed west to Dallas and played with "Cotton" and a few other groups. Rob's next venture was managing clubs and restaurants in Dallas: The Greenville Bar & Grill, Whiskey River, and his own club, Texas Magic Asylum. After Texas, he retired to Colorado to be with his sons and spend time with family.Rob is survived by his sons, Robert, III and Blake; his sisters, Denise and Darlene; Aunt Claireann "Dedee"; nieces, Bree Stealey and Dawn Pender and their families; nephews, Jesse Wilkins, Keith Muccigrosso and David Muccigrosso and their families; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.Remembrance Gathering, 5:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, July 12, 2019, at the family's residence."Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same." -Shubert
