Obituary of Nina Belle Becar

Nina B. Becar, 70, passed away from liver cancer on October 12, 2019 at the home of her sister, Jan. She was born November 22, 1948 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Bille Jean and Raymond Trujillo, Jr. She moved to Colorado in 1973 by way of New Mexico, Nebraska and Alaska.Nina was an active member of her church and an advocate for family history and genealogy. She was also the first woman president of the Cheyenne Mountain Sertoma Club, of which she was extremely proud.She was generous with her time and knowledge. She was a devoted mother, wife and sibling. The variety of her interests and passions made it easy for her to connect with so many. Her love of food and cooking was passed down to several generations. Nina was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-five years, Noel J. Becar, VI.She is survived by her children, Daniel, Matthew, Jeremy, Amber and adopted son, Eddie; grandchildren, Brennan, Lauren, Ariel, Angelica, Victoria, Danielle, Jeffrey, Elesia and Corbin; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Christopher; siblings, Jan, George and Ernie; dogs, Sherman, Tank, Skittles and Huggle; and an extended family of dear friends.She will be missed.Visitation, 12:30PM - 1:30PM, Celebration of Nina following, 2:00PM, Saturday, October 19, 2019, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Melissa Chapel, 2750 Melissa Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907.
