As one of Barbara's Hospice companion volunteers, I spent many hours holding her hands and reassuring her that everything was okay and she had nothing to worry about. She understood that her mind was confused but she was still able to laugh and share memories of her life. My deepest condolences to her family for your loss. I'm sure she and Beverly have reconnected in heaven.

Barbara was my aunt and my mother's sister. I have many wonderful memories of her. The fondest are the many conversations we had during my mother's decline with Alzheimer 's and her death. She was always better at keeping in touch than I. Our talks would last for hours. We would share many stories and alot of laughter. She was such a tremendous help to me during this difficult time even though she had lost her husband that same year. I will always treasure those memories. She is on another journey now to see all of those loved ones she has lost along the way. My sincerest sympathy to all of her family and friends left behind. She is in a good place.

I'm Gaylord, the son of Barbara's older sister Patricia Means. I have many fond memories of Aunt Barbara. She was a warm & loving aunt. Years ago, Aunt Barbara flew to LA and went camping in our RV with Camille & I to Death Valley. We stopped in Las Vegas to pick up my sister Melanie. While camped we all went to Chandler, AZ to attend Lori & Justin Vaught's wedding. Camille & I visited Aunt Barbara many times in Cincinnati, Florida, & Texas. We always had loving conversations about Grandma & Grandpa and members of the family. I will miss her dearly. I'm sure that she is now in a much better place. My she Rest in Peace. I love you Aunt Barb.

My most sincere condolences to all of Barb's beautiful family. I always called this beautiful, adorable and lovingly sister in Christ Barb. As soon as I'd say good morning Barb her on the other line knew it was me. We enjoyed our lovely times together. I really missed visiting with her when she moved to Colorado. I thank God for allowing me to visit with her and Urb, they were very sweet at all times. May she rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon her. Until we meet again Barb. Those Golden Gates are open awaiting that beautiful angel to welcome you to your heavenly home. Love you Barb. Gone but not forgotten. Love viola

Auntie Ba is the name my brother, sister, and me called Barbara. As a young child, I remember spending time with my Auntie Ba and my cousins at our Grandmother's (Nonnie) house. Auntie Ba was kind and soft spoken. She will be missed. Robin Ramer

Barbara was my Grandma, and she was great one!! She always made me feel loved and cared for. She had a warm smile and gave the best hugs-things that make such a big impact on a child. I always remember her humming a tune when she was busy doing things, a habit I picked up on and do to this day. I am so blessed to have had the honor of loving her and being loved by her. When I had my first child, she picked the name "Gigi" because she thought the "Great-grandma" made her seem too old, and the name stuck after that! I'm grateful that my children, her great-grandchildren, were able to know her and love her. She is missed already and will live in our hearts forever. We love you, Gigi!
