Obituary of Toddy Sawada Gramm

On June 12, 2020, Toddy S. Gramm passed away in her sleep at her home. She was 94 years old, and was born in Kyoto, Japan.Toddy was well-loved by many and touched many hearts. She was the matriarch of the Gramm family.She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gramm, Jr.; son, Johnny Gramm, who passed away in 2002 on the same day as Toddy; her sister, Masano; and her brother, Hiromu.Toddy is survived by five children, Lola Gramm, Grace Gramm, Michael (Kris) Gramm, Donna Gramm Stone, and Edward (Kim) Gramm, III. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Toddy enjoyed being surrounded by her grandkids.Toddy played the role of mother and father for four children still at home, working three jobs in the beginning, and finally retiring from Digital at age 64.She was a very strong and private woman; she never asked for anything but always gave everything. Life will be hard without this strong, supportive mother and nana.
