Nothing was said on my behalf at the service and thats because it's all been so surreal and I hadn't fully grasped the reality of it all yet. Here's what I'd like to say: Nana, thank you. Thank you for being the light in this family's life and for your Haagen Dazs coffee flavored ice cream. Thank you for the tiny ecosystems in jars, the Precious Moments coloring sessions, the crochet habits, the homemade sushi, the wooden bears/turtles by the door, ALL the lullabies and songs, the laughter, the hugs and most of all, thank you for showing this world what the true meaning of unconditional love and care is. For being the forever home of all our hearts. I'll forever long for you and your tender hug and simplistic, yet beautiful ways of wisdom. Take care of yourself, my dearest Nana.
