I will miss my friend. Chris! We enjoyEd some good bantering back and forth, as well as some great laughs. One of the most memorable times was when I was with her at Penrose during a treatment. Wanting to keep her in a happy mood, I was showing her funny memes and videos on FB. We got to joking, and Julie happened to text to check-in. Chris said "Tell her we found out what the problem is. I am pregnant." We both laughed! I texted Julie, who asked "How did that happen?" Chris didn't miss a beat. She said "There was this passerby once, and I invited him in for a drink." She just smiled. I will always remember her wanting me to tease my hair to get some lift in it. Plus, how much she hated "that soup!" But doggonit, she still made it and ate it. As I write to my very best friend, I know I will miss so many things about you. We became close friends after we both retired. We had so many great times. Our trips to Hilton Head, SC, and Savannah, Ga. Your trips to Tennessee, especially when you came to see Gov. Mike Huckabee speak. We went to the hotel so I could start decorating. You just started decorating with us and by the end of the night everyone knew who you were. We had so much in common. Our love of our children, our grandkids, and the Lord. Our political views, and our love of President Trump. I will miss our daily phone calls. For the past 2 years I've prayed for you every day. But God had other plans for you. My daughter Cara and I loved shopping at the beach with Chris. She always had a fabulous sense of style and was so much fun to hang out with. I loved her outspoken nature about life and politics. We had many laughs together. My daughter Cara, who is 9, would like to say that she remembers that Chris's favorite color was black, and that she was very nice and caring to her. She says Miss Chris was really fun and she will miss showing her pictures of her new puppy Misty, who looks a lot like Titan. Cara says she loved her a lot.

In 1989 the Scotts arrived in Colorado Springs excited about opening a new business. Chris was my 1st hire. When we sold the business back to Ethan Allen 20 years later, Chris was not only a full partner, she was a trusted close friend. Over those years we had many many adventures..mostly good ones..and life was never dull with Chris around. Her devotion to family was special, and our daughter McKenzie considered Chris her Colorado Grandma. We'll miss you dearly Chris, but we'll never forget you. Our hearts are heavy. I remember meeting Chris at SECC when Todd was the one of the pastors there. When Todd came back to Colorado to start Life Church we started attending to help with the work. Chris came many Sundays and it was always a joy to visit with her. She was the type of woman that when she walked into the room her presence was known. I always thought she was so striking and loved visiting with her. While I didn't know her well she was Todd's mom and that was enough. I was so sorry to hear of her passing but know she's at peace and with our wonderful Lord. Prayers and our deepest sympathy to the family during this time. Cynda and Paul Eichhorn

Chrissy was an amazing person and cared about everyone. There's a saying that says that someone is known by many but loved a few. This would be a false statement about Chrissy because she was loved and known by so many. It is a sad to think that my aunt is gone but I know she's happy because she gets to be with her parents, her husband Bob, her brother Brutis and her son Barry. In addition to being able to watch over each and everyone she cares about. We will miss you for ever. Chrissy cared about her family unconditionally. Always trying to help them anyway she could possibly do so. Whether it was making someone's favorite meal, going to Bobby's games, or just spending time with her family.

Chris was not only my boss at Ethan Allen for over 15 years, she was my mentor and friend. We worked well together rearranging the store after hours and I will deeply miss our long telephone conversations. Chris never failed to ask about my family. As I write this memories are sneaking out of my eyes and rolling down my cheeks, I will deeply miss you.
