I'm glad Jerry is in the presence of his Lord and Savior. But oh, how he will be missed here. He was a rare bird in this world: a good man. Not a perfect one, but one who had a big heart for God and a big heart for other people. And a big smile to boot.

Jerry I shall treasure the times we visited people together. We made a good team You made them laugh with those old Texas jokes and I shared the devotionals. I will always remember those chocolate milkshakes and our visits. We shared laughs, prayers, tears but most of all we shared the love of Brothers in Christ. Love, Jim Fraker

Jerry and Ingrid were the most wonderful neighbors. We enjoyed so many summer evenings sharing dinners or Happy Hours over deck! They became family and connect no matter where we are. Jerry was never too busy to help and he could do anything. Will miss that great smile and infectious laugh! Lots of love to you Ingrid and your family from All of us! Kristina

Janet and I will greatly miss Jerry. Though we did not know Jerry very long, he became an instant inspiration for us and dear friend with his infectious smile and Texan humor. He must be nothing but smiles in Heaven right now. Heaven just became an even more joyful place with Jerry's arrival. Bill & Janet Helbig

Jerry was a very special man, husband, father & friend. It comforts me to know Jerry has joined Jon Gilliam in Heaven with many other loved ones. Knowing this comforts us that Jerry did not really die in a permanent sense but he now resides in Heaven waiting on God's timing fir Ingrid & others to join him. Thy will was done & we rejoice that he is out of pain & cancer free.

Jerry always greeted me with a smile and "Hello Kid! I loved bantering with him and will always hear his response to my question of how he was doing with "Right as rain" and his chuckle! He was a sweet friend and I miss him. How blessed we are that we get to meet up again in our heavenly home!

Jerry and Ingrid have opened their home countless times to Roger and me as family. Our grandchildren loved coming to Colorado and were recipients of their gracious hospitality. We looked forward to Jerry's jovial bantering and sincere interest in our lives. His passing leaves a big hole that can't be replaced! When visiting a few short weeks ago, he spoke of looking forward to his heavenly home. He indeed lived a life of love to family and friends! Roger and Karen (Bitsi) Merrill
