I have been personally blessed by the Father's word through Mike. While the words were spot-on, he expressed them with grace and tenderness as befits the Father's character. Carl Irby

Just wanted to send our sympathy to Sue and the family. Rene & I are from Brandon Manitoba, Canada and we were one of those little churches that Mike would come to minister to. We can't thank you enough for sharing him with us as God's ministered through Mike so faithfully to those in this community. Our boys have fond memories of Mike when he stayed in our home with us. May God continue to strengthen and bless you in the days ahead. Rene & Lorraine Roels

Dear Sue and Family Our deepest sympathy on the passing of your wonderful husband and our dear friend, Mike. It's Friday evening and we've just received this news. I'm quickly swamped with beautiful memories of great anointed occasions over close to 40 years. I believe when I first met Mike in Baltimore that you and your 2 children were also here. Probably strange to be ministering in a Catholic Church via a Catholic priest. That did not stop you guys and a relationship was forged for life. Mike had met my wife- to- be in a prophetic spirit realm which he did not reveal to me for more than a year. Well, Roz, my pearl of great price, has been the phenomenal blessing in my life for 26+ years now. Wow I could enumerate so very many prophetic witnesses of Mike's ministry to the saints that I pastored in 2 Catholic churches and our present House of Worship, New Covenant Tabernacle. Sue, you' ve been a wonderful helpmate and caregiver through some really tough times in the midst of your own pain. We honor you and love you very much. Our desire and intent is to stay close in prayer and in better touch in days ahead. Love and Prayer- Tom and Rosalind Schwind

Mike has been my dear friend and mentor in the prophetic. Because he came to Baltimore so much , I was able to know him for over 35 years. His gentle kind spirit was apparent his entire life. He loved people and they loved him back. Mike delivered the Word of God in season and out. One thing I particularly remember him saying was that he had an easy job because if God didn't show up he had nothing to do. He always had an ear to listen and patience. So many good times with him and his precious wife Sue. Mike your reward is great in heaven. I personally will miss you.

I have pondered for a week as to the manner in which to express myself in regard to Mike. It is no small or easy task to summarize 35+ years of friendship, because I'm not merely speaking for myself. I'm also speaking on behalf of my family and the many believers in our area to whom Mike ministered over that timespan. First and foremost to Sue, Steven, Bethany and the entire Boland family, we offer our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers as you adjust to life here without Mike's physical form. Mike has stepped into unfiltered and unfettered glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is released from all pain, discomfort and limitation! May the comfort of the Holy Spirit hold each of you tenderly as you grieve. May His Divine presence fill the aching hole in each heart due to Mike's absence. I don't think that Mike ever came to WV that he didn't spend time at our house. Because he stayed with us often, Mike became ‘Uncle Buck ‘ to our sons. Eventually he was lovingly called "Buster Bubba Boland," a living legend true enough, continuing to endure whenever his name pops up in conversation with those same boys, now men, with lives of their own. In mid October I intended to call Mike. We were due for our periodic catch up call. The call in which we refreshed our friendship and talked of family and life in general. I neglected to follow through, thinking I'd call when we had more time to talk at length. Please forgive me for not making that call. I will regret that decision for a long time. Mike's prophetic gift was an uncapped well. He was always ready to give someone a drink from that gracious gift. He walked in great joy to minister to who ever and wherever he could, regardless of compensation or lack thereof. He certainly was not a prophet for hire and this attitude endeared him to me. What some of you may not know is that Mike, to us, was the ultimate tour guide. When he and Sue were pastoring in Montrose, Colorado, he invited us to come minister for him. We towed a tent camper to Montrose and set it up on the church parking lot. There we preached and ministered nights while he guided us to such wonderful sites as, the "dobies" Black Canyon of the Gunnison, a real ghost town, Teluride, and Ouray. We saw wildlife up close, from the mule deer fawn visiting our campsite and allowing our sons to pet him, our oldest son nearly stepping on a porcupine in the abandoned mine town; and lots of birds unknown in our home state. That trip still ranks at the very top of our vacation list. We are forever grateful to Mike and Sue for making it happen! In closing, (and I could ramble for pages) let me say that Mike enriched our lives personally and professionally, so, Thank you Mike for being real, true and genuine to God, your family, your friends and yourself! You are forever my Friend! Precious memories, how they linger! Sincerely in Christ, Jeff, Jackie and the entire Moales Family

Mike has been a friend of our family since 1994, when we met him at Springs Harvest Fellowship in Colorado. When we moved to New Mexico we had the privilege of having Mike stay in our home a couple of times when he was passing through. Those visits were ones we reminisced about many times over the years. When we went through a really difficult time Mine would call and check up on us. He has and always will have a very special place in our hearts as will Sue. We love you!! David and Robin Angier

Our names are Cj and Charli Sherrill. We met Mike in our early 20s, about 35 years ago. We walked into a church service for the first time a little late, and before we could find a seat Mike noticed Jay and instructed him to come forward. With eyes wide open not sure what was going on ... Jay began to walk down the aisle. Mikes words that day Changed the course of our lives. We have followed him ever cents. Thank you Sue, Josh & Bethany for sharing Mark with us & the world all those years. Forever changed. Love the Sherrill‘s
