My heart is broken. I respected no one more than Bill Hooper. He was one of the gentlest, funniest and honest man I ever worked with. Go with grace, my friend, I am sure there was a special trumpeter playing the Air Force Anthem as you walked through the pearly gates.

Bill was an inspiration, a great friend, a wonderful and caring person. His stories, his smile, his devotion to those he loved and his kindness are the legacy that he leaves behind. The world is a sadder place without him.

My mother was so fortunate to meet Bill when she did! I know he cherished and adored her, and my heart warms thinking about it. His commitment and care for her were such a gift, and I will miss him dearly. During this holiday season, I am especially grateful for the love he showed her, the welcome and joy he always showed my sister and I, and the blessings of his company during the past few years. We love you, Bill!

Bill was a wonderful friend to our family. What an amazing life he lived and blessed all who knew him. It was our honor to spend time with him in the summer of 2019. You will be missed, but we know there is an angel in heaven keeping the watch over us all.

I was blessed to know Bill as my step-father for many years, Bill will be missed beyond belief. In his life, Bill saw more of the world, did more with each day of life, and touched more lives and most of us will. Bill truly loved his family, his country, and his dogs! Bill touched so many lives, from the member of the church to the staff at Nana's kitchen, and Bill had a story for every occasion. Rest In Peace Bill, we love you dearly.

Uncle Bill always had a joke to tell and just to make sure you were listening he always told it in a very low voice! Gonna miss you Uncle Bill.

Bill was the most caring and giving person you could ever know. He would go out of his way to help anyone. Bill devoted his last 25 plus years supporting and caring for his first wife Rita who died of cancer, his second wife Sarah Lou who died of cancer and his last wife Mary who also died of cancer. Bill treated Sarah's and Mary's children and grandchildren as if they were his own. After Mary's death, Bill volunteered his time at the Sunrise United Methodist Church. I am honored to have been Bill's best friend for the past 40 years.

I'm thankful to have known Bill. He had a big impact on my life by being married to my mom Sarah Lou for 17 years till her passing in 2011. Bill was loving and caring to my mom which meant so much to me. He was my only father figure and my 5 children's "Papa Bill" . I will always have fond memories of him and his southern gentleman charm. Rest In Peace Papa Bill
