I have put this off for so long because it's one of the hardest things to do, next to my own loss this year. How do you convey in words the huge personality and heart of someone like Helen? The world has truly lost a beautiful soul. My heart and prayers go out to her family, and especially Andy.

My big sister ,Helen Spencer ,was the most loving open minded non judgmental compassionate lady ever to grace this world with Her presence. Andy Spencer being her knight in shining armour for 37 years, making her life full of wonderful adventurers n true love still as strong as it was July 14, 1984. Growing up together, we learned how to curl our hair with the new thing " curling iron"from " monkey ward's" that Santa brought in 1976. She got her license that year and Dad parked car on street n of course Helen and I had to put in garage maybe 50yards away but took us hour or so due we had to cruise to mc Donald or chase fire truck, (she loved that) or go by Andy home to see if she might see him home. We laughed n had fun thru all those times and always been then when we need the other. Growing up pulled us apart in location but never in heart. She always sent some card when thought this world had no nice left in it. Listened supported lovingly all our family gone thru. Her nieces will miss her so much. Stasia and Nikki always looked up to their auntie n forever will. Her nephew's will never forget her going out of her way just to send card to em. They all loved her so much. Hallmark Helen cards will be missed. My big sister stood above all ladies with class and heart no other could even come close too. Big sister your in peaceful loving place and we meet agsin I love you forevermore and everlasting that never go away

What a beautiful tribute for a beautiful person. Helen and I were co-workers in the Bay Area in the late 80's early 90's; she was so witty and fun, we hit it off right away and shared many good times. We still managed to maintain a long distance friendship after her and Andy moved to Texas. Honestly she never missed a Birthday or Christmas card. Helen was a dear friend and she will always have a special place in my heart; she was such a thoughtful and giving person and will be missed immensely. With Love and Condolences, Debbie Filek

When I think of Helen, I see her sweet smile. She and Andy are the best neighbors. I cry when I look at their house and think about the ferrous courage she lived as an amazing example of how to continue to fight in the midst of such hard circumstances. She will be greatly missed by all on Misty Creek Dr. Annie

I was about 10 or so when Andy and Helen got married. I remember how stunning she looked in her wedding gown! Like a princess. I ended up catching her bouquet, and thought in my 10 year old mind that I was next in line, hahaha! I loved Helen, and miss her already...our hearts are broken.

I could not have asked for a more perfect aunt. Helen was the most kind, loving, and fun-spirited person. I wish there were words more powerful that exist to describe Helen. She always made us feel so special. She would send a perfect card to celebrate every event or milestone in our lives. My daughters absolutely adored their Aunt Helen and looked forward to sending her messages about fun things that happen in their lives. What I'll miss most is her smile and her laugh. Every family needs someone like Helen, someone who loves everyone unconditionally, who you can talk to about anything, and who can make you laugh until you cry. She was absolutely perfect and we miss her so much. Life won't be the same without her. Thank you for everything, Helen. Love you.

My loving sister, we will all miss her. Her kindness, caring, positive self. Always putting others 1st. She touched our family in so many ways…always a bright spot when her and Andy would visit. We will miss you "Helen Hallmark". You're with the angels...Love you!
