I lived with Paul as his girlfriend on Kauai. We shared religiosity, with belief in thei miracles of Akiane Kramerik and COLTON Burpe reading the books together, trying to decipher the Aramaic Bible, and talked allot about his journey to visit Colton Burpes church. Paul at that time was working on a huge electrical engineering project at a seed company near Barking Sands. We enjoyed political religious spiritual philosophical and stock market discussion and exploded Kauai together. Paul spoke of the time he was responsible for US shooting down a test missile that North Korea shot towards Hawaii and showed the congratulatory certificate to me.This he said happened while he worked for Ratheon.Paul continually trained athletically, particularly long distance bicycling and he was a Civil Air patrol pilot as a community service project on Kauai. I supported him emotionally through some of the worst. moments of his life and thought they were over for him.Paul was fascinated with those who had glimpses of Heaven I'm near death experiences. Now he will know for sure if Heaven looked as was depicted by his favorite artist Akiane Kramerik. His favorite artwork of hers was Prince of Peace We loved was ching videos of pilots landing on the world's most dangerous runways,Paul was fond of Bethany Hamiltons family, and we enjoyed intellectual conversations. Ironically we were being the fond of Burzinskis work in developing cancer treatment s that saved people whom otherwise would not have survived after failed treatment elsewhere. To find he died of an unusual cancer such as the type Burzynski once treated is like a Deja Vu. Before leaving Kauai we went to all of Paul's favorite places from one end of the island to the other end. He had a passion for North shore of Kauai and outdoor church where he had done the electrical work for Bruce Baumgartner. Soul Surfer was his favorite movie since he knew the Hamilton's and we enjoyed Thanksgiving with them playing board games. He helped local businesses with their electrical engineering issues without charge or bartered for fresh fruit. There was a love for adventure in him as he literally had to teach himself to swim to participate in Ironman and Rustman competitions. Paul may you rest in peace with the God you loved. My condolences and sympathies and I will remember our good moments together.RGAD

Paul was a kind and generous soul and I'm thankful we had a few adventures. I especially remember him letting our three year old "fly the plane" one day as she sat with him at the controls. So exciting for her. Rest In Peace Paul and God bless. The Laughlins

For those of us who worked with Paul in Honolulu, he always had a good sense of humor and a story to tell. He did a great deal for the renewable energy industry here and certainly brightened all of our lives too. Aloha Paul!

It was always so fun when your family would join us on Christmas Eve. I looked forward to that night all year. When we were older, we'd go to Bishop Airport and Paul would zip through the Flint skies in a super jet, touch the ground for a few seconds, and then go back into the sky! Now he's way up in the sky, where we all look forward to being. Condolences to those of your family still on this side of the "wild blue yonder."
