Sweet Pauline, I remember when Kit & her drove off in Kit's Jeepster for their honeymoon. She was dressed in a light colored suit and looked so pretty. Having lived in the same town for many years, I saw her numerous times after church at my grandparent's. She was always rather quiet, sweet and nice. She had a way of making a statement and then having a little chuckle at the end of the statement. My husband Verne and I visited with them when we drove to Colorado in 2010 and then again at my mother's memorial service in La Junta. She will be remembered by me for being a sweet woman who had not a mean bone in her body. I know that she is resting in the Lord's arms now.

I met Cousin Pauline for the first time in July 1997 when my daughter Sandi and I made our cross country trip and also met causing Gloria's husband, Patrick in Maryland. When my daughter and I got off the train in La Junta, it seemed like nobody was waiting for us, until, after a few minutes that a lady asked if I was Ramon? I answered yes, and she said that Kit had gone inside the train depo to ask if I was a passenger on the train that just had stopped. Sweet Pauline and we were talking when he came out saying that he thought I was a gringo when he saw the couple on the station deck. Kit and I had seen each other last in Feb. of 1944 and of course, he was still single. My daughter and I have a great love for Pauline and we saw them again in 2009 when I went again to La Junta, CO. for my cousin Marguerie services. We had a chance to talk again for quite a while and to learn more about their children, Sandy, Steve and John. Though I never met their children personally, only via email with Sandy and Lake I would like to extend to them and my dear cousin Kit my sincere Symptahy and to let them know that she will continue to be in my daily prayers for Her Eternal Repose and for them to find the Peace when you know that all of You, Now have your OWN Angel In Heaven. May She Rest in Peace. I Love you! Kit. Cousin Ramon
