Aunt Sylvia you are the strongest woman that I had the honor of knowing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge advice and wisdom with me. It was a pleasure being your niece. Our last decade contained some turmoil that only you and I fully understand. But with our handwritten letters back and forth, which I kept every one, I believe in my heart of hearts that we worked out our differences. My only regret is that we didnt get the chance to forgive each other in person, and I will carry that responsibility with me forever. I am sorry for that. I know you are with Joni and will continue giving us advice as needed. Thank you for being you and being my aunt. I will forever love you. Until we meet again, you will be in my heart, thoughts and prayers. You are Gods hands now, rest peacefully with no more pain. I love you Aunt Sylvia. Love Always....Candi

Mrs. Carter was one of the most kindest women I have ever known. Always one to try and mend someone else's broken fences, and tried to heal hearts that were broken. I pray for her family at this difficult time. I pray that they may know she is home now with God and at peace. It doesn't take the hurt away, the loss will be felt, but, I ask God to watch over her family, embrace them with love and strength. May Mrs. Carter rest in Peace. Love, Belinda

To know her was to love her. I stayed with my aunt and uncle the summer I was 16. She left a positive, lasting impact on my life that I will forever be grateful for. R.I.P. Aunt Sylvia. You live on in my heart.
