Obituary of Darrell Keith Jackson, Sr.

Darrell Keith Jackson, Sr., 59 years old, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away very peacefully and quietly on Monday, March 1, 2021. Almighty God in His infinite wisdom reached down and closed the eyes of our beloved Darrell Keith Jackson, Sr. in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Darrell was born on September 1, 1961 to Robert Jackson and the late Marlene Cynthia Jackson in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.Darrell was educated in the Philadelphia school system; Seville, Spain; Okinawa, Japan; Whiteman AFB, Missouri; and Holloman AFB, New Mexico while he traveled extensively with his parents.Darrell proudly served his country as a soldier in the U.S. Army. He moved to Colorado Springs to begin a new chapter in his life. He wanted to be a Chef, so he enrolled in a culinary class. He enjoyed cooking and a variety of sports.Darrell is survived by his beloved father, Robert Jackson and Robert's wife, Wilhelmina; his son, Darrell Jackson, Jr.; his brother, Robert "Bobby" Jackson and Robert's wife, Debra; two sisters, Tracy A. Ingram and Michelle N. Jackson; uncle, Andre Wooding; aunt, Yvonne Victor; five nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.The family wishes to extend their gratitude to The Springs Funeral Services for their professional care during our time of bereavement.
