The service was very beautiful, honoring Ron but especially honoring to grace of our Lord and Savior on a special man's life. shared an apartment with Ron and Rusty during 1979 - 1980 while attending the Criswell College. I was the youngster of the trio. Ron made an impression on me that has continued until now. To Pam and your children, to Marge, Helen, Kathy, and Mike I extend my condolences and love. Blessings!

On a professional level, Ron challenged and humbled me every day. At work, I struggled to keep up with Ron's intelligence and problem-solving abilities. On a personal level, I lost my friend and fellow reader of every macho thriller bestseller that ever came out. We used to eagerly wait for the next release of a Jack Reacher or Brad Thor book so that we could race to finish it and compare notes. Ron always cheated by listening to the audio at 1.25 times normal speed . I always forgave him because he could remind me of every plot point in any book, even if we had it read it 10 years ago. I miss him every day.

I'm so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I used to work with Ron and he recommended me for my DBA job. There were two things I always knew about Ron and that was his deep love for his family and his love of God. I remember seeing the family pictures in his office and his telling me about his family. He never had to tell you he was a man of God, his actions always showed you. A truly remarkable man. Take Care, Pam, Melesa and Micah and family. His love for you will always be with you. Ron was amazing. I once went to their house to fix a water pipe leak. Ron went around with me to help. He was so familiar with his surroundings that I kept forgetting that he was blind. Even at church, I never thought of Ron as a blind guy. He was so easy to be with. The World has lost a great friend. I can only aspire to be as knowledgeable as he was in God's Word. What we see dimly now, Ron is seeing clearly.

Ron and Pam have been long time friends. Our kids were similar in age. I always admired Ron's love for the Lord. He had a way of making his vast Bible knowledge understandable. He always joined in the fun and had a great sense of humor. Ron you will be missed. I know you are with your Lord. Pam we are here for you.
