Obituary of Donald Milo McClure

Donald Milo McClure, 56, of Peyton, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2021 surrounded by his beloved family and friends.Don was born in Pueblo on January 26, 1965, to James Linden McClure and Florence Irene (Straley) McClure, both born in Pueblo, Colorado. He graduated from Canon City High School in 1983, and later continued his education and completed his Associate's Degree in HVAC Technology with IntelliTec College. Don then turned his talent and education into a prosperous small business. On November 29, 1998, he married Kim (Mayberry) McClure, the love of his life and his life partner. Don came to the marriage with three wonderful boys, and later welcomed a beautiful daughter, who were the most important part of his life.He was a devoted father, and adventurer. He enjoyed his family and friends, fast cars, boating and jet skis, riding with Kim on the motorcycle, four-wheeling, hunting and fishing, building things, and driving his tractor. Don was also a problem solver and would utilize his handyman skills to fix anything. He was a spiritual man that believed in the strength of a hug and demanded one in return. Don inspired others, by example on how to be a good man, son, husband, father, uncle and grandfather. Don is survived by his mother, Irene; wife, Kim McClure; his children, Josh (Kayleigh) McClure, Andrew (Dani) McClure, Austin McClure, Siobain (Nathan) Rivera, and Cody (Elizabeth) McGraw; grandson, Cole Rivera; siblings, Cynthia Lee (McClure) Hasenbalg and Alfred, Carrie Ann (McClure) Watson and Christopher, and Keith Brian (Nichole) McClure; and many nieces and nephews.
